Another I-Taukei Land Trust Board employee has been sacked over theft of monies belonging to landowners.

This brings the total number of officials sacked over the TLTB theft, to three.

TLTB sacked one of its drivers last Friday after just seven days of suspension.

The driver is said to be the one who takes the landowners cheques to the bank.

His actions and those he colluded with came to light after a complaint was lodged by a paramount chief who is also a member of the TLTB Board.

FBC News has established that landowners from Ba, Nadi, Nadroga and Kalabu in Naitasiri have also filed similar complaints after discovering they have been short changed.

It is alleged the suspects extracted monies from landowners lease dues and wired them into their respective personal bank accounts from the TLTB IT system using various passwords, which insiders say, was a serious breach of IT policy.

Three other officers suspended over the same allegation have returned to work.
